A suggested reading order

The guides stand alone, but they also build on each other. If you are new, read them in roughly this order and you will find each one easier than the last.

1. ChatGPT AI photo editing prompts for beginners explains the basic idea and walks through a first edit.
2. How to use ChatGPT photo editing prompts covers the copy, paste and refine routine, plus what to do when ChatGPT changes a face.
3. The six-part formula shows how to write your own ChatGPT prompt for photo editing instead of relying on someone else's.
4. Trending Instagram looks takes the formula and applies it to the styles people are posting right now.
5. Couple prompts and text prompts deal with the two hardest cases: two faces, and words on a photo.
6. Prompt seen ChatGPT helps when you remember a result but not the instructions behind it.
7. Web stories explains how to use our swipeable summaries.

What you will not find here

We do not publish guides that promise a perfect result every time, because no prompt can. We do not write about imitating living artists or protected characters, and we do not publish prompts meant to deceive people, such as fake documents or misleading edits of real individuals. When a topic is risky, we say so and explain the safer version.

We also try not to pad. A guide is finished when it answers the question in its title. If a post feels shorter than you expected, that is on purpose.

How a guide gets written

Every guide starts with a real question about ChatGPT's image editing. We write a plain draft, add example prompts, and then check each example against its own advice. A prompt in a guide should follow the rules the guide teaches. If it does not, we fix the prompt or the rule.

After that comes a read-through for clarity. Can a first-time reader follow it without opening another tab? Is every term explained the first time it appears? Are the links useful rather than decorative? Guides that fail those questions go back for another pass. We add the date to each post so you can judge how current it is, and we update posts when ChatGPT's behavior changes in a way that affects the advice.

Using the guides with the rest of promptbeen

Each guide links to ready-made prompts in the library, so you can read an idea and test it in the same session. If you want to experiment with your own wording, open the free prompt tool. It runs in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded. And if you would rather skim than read, the web stories condense the main guides into a few slides each.

Have a question the guides do not answer? Check the FAQ first, then write to promptbin@gmail.com. Good questions often become the next guide.
